'warm electro for cold ears' was first launched in december 2002 out of a desire to bring together electro bands who write melodic pop with a strong element of performance. the name is partly a reference to the time of year that we launched & the 'cold' electroclash music that we were trying to separate ourselves from. the name has since been shortened to simply 'warm electro' but the sentiment remains the same.
